Connect our Inline Protuding Tap Cutter to your 1" sewer jetter cleaner and jet down the line to the protuding tap* or other obstruction. Using the constant pressure from the motor's thruster nozzle, the segmented diamond tipped bit cuts through the tap, leaving only a short stub. Now your line is able to be cleaned with normal sewer equipment and normal flow is achieved.

The Inline Protuding Tap Cutter Kit includes:

• a high torque hydraulic motor,
• roller skids to center the cutter,
• a segmented industrial diamond tipped cutting bit

The bits are sized 1" under the pipe application. This prevents hang ups on offset joins and allow you to leave the cut off tap with a short stub, ensuring the tap stays in place. The standard depth of the bit is the same as the bit diameter. Custom lengths are available upon request.

This cutter can be used with sewer jetters and cleaners rated for 35-80 gpm at 1500-2500 psi.
Kits are available for 6", 8", 10", 12" and 15" pipes.

For Cutting PVC and other plastics, use our Carbide tipped bits.

Bits and motors are also available seperately.

*The diamond bit will work on PVC but it is not recommended. A carbide tipped PVC bit is best and will work on all plastics and metal taps/obstructions.
